AA PLAYERS MAKING THEIR MARK DOWN UNDER

Nearly two dozen current and former American Association players are spending their off-seasons in the Australian Baseball League. The league features a mix of players from Australia and New Zealand, as well as the rest of the baseball world.

In his first season in the ABL, C Jeremy Martinez (pictured, St. Paul ’19,), one of six AA players on the Brisbane Bandits, leads the squad with a .314 average through 16 games, also chipping in with a pair of round-trippers and and six RBI.

Meanwhile, Sydney RHP Ty’Relle Harris (Grand Prairie ’14-’15) has been strong in the bullpen so far this season, earning four saves for the first-place Blue Sox.
