-If a tie occurs at the end of the second half, a one-game playoff shall be held the day after the regular season at the site of the team with the best percentage against the opponent, unless the president declares one site more appropriate. If the tie at the end of the second half involves the winner of the first half, then no special playoff will be held and a regular playoff series will start between the two teams.
-The winner of the first half of each division shall meet the winner of the second half of that division in a best-of-five series. The winners will meet in a best-of-five series. If one club should win both halves, then its playoff opponent shall be the team in that division with the second-best winning percentage during the entire season.
