The American Association of Independent Professional Baseball held its annual league tryout camp on March 27-28 at LaGrave Field in Fort Worth, TX. Eight players were taken in the draft, seven of which were pitchers.

7. Fort Worth Cats – LHP Schuyler Tripp (Indian Hills Junior College)
8. Pensacola Pelicans – OF Joe Hicks
