SOLOMON'S COMPLETE GAME EARNS HIM PITCHER OF THE WEEK

MOORHEAD, MN- The official statistician of the American Association, Pointstreak, has announced that Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks’ LHP Will Solomon (pictured) has been named this week’s Pointstreak Pitcher of the Week for the week ending June 30.

Solomon put together a masterful one run complete game to earn the award. In the 13-1 win over the Texas AirHogs on June 28, Solomon allowed just one run on four hits while striking out seven and walking just one. The lefty has now won Pointstreak Pitcher of the Week Award twice, he also won last July.

Solomon has spent his entire professional career with the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks after getting drafted by the San Diego Padres in 2016, but going unsigned. Since joining the RedHawks, the Columbus, Georgia native has been a workhorse, going 15-12 with a 4.63 ERA over 225.1 innings of work.
