Tim Doherty - Field Manager, Kansas City

Tim Doherty will be in his third season as manager of the T-Bones. In his first season at the helm, Doherty led Kansas City to a club record 58 wins and their fourth appearance in the playoffs.

Doherty, 46, has been a member of the T-Bones coaching staff since the inaugural 2003 season. He played collegiately at Central Missouri State before heading to Kansas City (KS) Community College in 1986. Doherty then finished his collegiate career in 1987-88 at Oral Roberts University.

Doherty made his coaching debut with Oral Roberts in 1989. From 1990-1992, he was the hitting coach at Seminole Junior College in Seminole, OK, where he coached two future major leaguers, Shane Halter and Kelly Stinnett. Doherty was also a scout for the Cleveland Indians during that time.

In 1993, Doherty was an assistant coach at the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now Louisiana-Lafayette). From 1994-1997, he was an assistant at Southwest Texas (now Texas State University).
